PokerStars re-introduces Mystery Bounty Series with a guaranteed prize pool of $3 million
PokerStars Mystery Bounty Series 2022 Returns with $3 Million Guaranteed Prize Pool
The PokerStars Mystery Bounty Series is back and bigger than ever, running from July 13 to July 21, 2022. This year's series features 55 events, with a total guaranteed prize pool of $3 million, making it accessible for players with a wide range of bankrolls.
The series will offer a mix of popular poker formats, including No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha (PLO), 8-Game, Pot Limit Badugi, No Limit 2-7 Single Draw, PLO8, and No Limit Omaha 8 or Better (NLO8).
Highlight events of the series include the $109 Main Event with a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool on July 20, the $11 Mini Main Event with at least $125,000 in guaranteed prizes, also on July 20, and the $75 Sunday Special with a $350,000 guaranteed prize pool on the opening day, July 13.
One of the unique aspects of the Mystery Bounty tournaments is the twist where bounty prizes are hidden and only revealed when you eliminate a player and open the virtual "envelope" bounty. This adds an element of surprise and potentially life-changing bounty awards, sometimes extending into five-figure sums depending on the event.
The visibility of remaining mystery bounty prizes creates a fun sweat for players who can track how many big prizes are left and how much they might make with the next elimination. Winning big prizes in mystery bounty tournaments doesn't necessarily require reaching the final table.
The series caters to many different skill sets and bankroll levels, with diverse poker variants included across the 55 events. Buy-ins for the series range from $5.50 up to $215.
The special Sunday Special mystery bounty event will take place on an unspecified date. To learn more about the PokerStars Mystery Bounty Series or sign up to play, visit PokerStars.
