Lottery companies Brightstar and Lotto Saxony strengthen their collaboration in Germany.
Brightstar Lottery and Lotto Saxony Form Seven-Year Partnership to Modernize Lottery Solutions
In a recent development, Brightstar Lottery, a leading lottery software, technology, and solutions provider, has expanded its partnership with Lotto Saxony in the State of Saxony, Germany. The new seven-year contract includes an upgrade to Lotto Saxony's retail central system with Brightstar's Aurora™ technology platform, a key component of the OMNIA™ omnichannel solution.
Marco Tasso, COO of Brightstar Lottery, expressed his excitement about the new alliance, stating that it will modernize lottery solutions throughout the state. Tasso believes the upgrade will enable Lotto Saxony to manage transaction processing, game management, and back-office operations more efficiently and securely, supported by key cloud products such as Anywhere and Performance Wizard.
Lotto Saxony's CEO, Herr Frank Schwarz, shared Tasso's positive sentiment and praised Brightstar's solutions, support, and technology. Schwarz noted that the quality and reliability of Brightstar's solutions were the reasons for their initial collaboration decades ago. He looks forward to upgrading Lotto Saxony's central system to Brightstar's sophisticated platform.
The collaboration will provide Lotto Saxony with user-friendly applications and a range of tools and reporting features. Lotto Saxony will benefit from Brightstar Lottery's comprehensive retail system technology, Aurora, which powers nearly 90 lottery customers on six continents. Aurora has already demonstrated its effectiveness in boosting profitability and driving innovation.
The new partnership builds on the success of their previous collaboration. Brightstar Lottery posted strong Q2 results, marking the completion of several strategic objectives. Earlier this summer, Brightstar announced the completion of the sale of its Gaming & Digital business.
The upgrade is expected to significantly improve Lotto Saxony's operational capabilities, game management, and transaction processing. Lotto Saxony's CEO, Herr Frank Schwarz, noted that the improved system is described as intuitive and user-friendly, enhancing operational oversight and promoting innovation and profitability for Lotto Saxony.
