Construction Site Thieves Specializing in Metal Looting Identified as LPI-G
On September 2, 2025, a man and a woman gained unauthorized access to a construction site in Friedrich-Naumann-Straße, Meuselwitz, Altenburg. The intrusion occurred around 10:20 AM.
According to reports, the couple opened several latches on the construction fence to gain access. Once inside, they loaded aluminum scrap from a container on site into their vehicle. The specific construction site was not specified, but it was located at the local bus station.
The witness found the situation suspicious and alerted a nearby police patrol. The officers identified the couple and initiated an investigation for aggravated theft. However, there is no publicly available information about the identity of the man or woman involved in the incident.
